ive just brought a 150w cfl does it screw straight into my normal 400w lampholder with ballast or do i need a plug?

im pretty sure u can buy an adapter for it that makes it go into a normal light socket. if not u gotta buy the lamp with the bigger socket in it. i dont think u should plug it into ur HID light socket since it has a ballast of its own built right into it

yea you need to get a e40 mogul with out a ballast!
