Default What colour/kind/shade of CFL should I use?
Hi, what is the best kind of CFL that i can use? I attached an image for better understanding...
I know there are different shades; warm, cool white and natural (daylight). I was thinking natural would work best. because its a very bright glow best represents the sun.

If you have any suggestions for what shade or brand I would love to hear it.

Thanks

Hey Chriss2525. You want 6500k (DayLight) bulbs for vegging and 2700k (Soft White) for Flowering. I know that Super Target has the 23watt one on sale 2 for 4.88! Each place has their own brands just look at the K (kelvin) number and the acutal wattage. Some brands differ in the lumen per watt so just look for the best they have.

you are correct, the addition of warm white helps stimulate flowering when you get to that stage, cool white are useless. http://www.rollitup.org/attachments/...hortgraph2.gif

Farthest to the right in the picture for veggation which is around the blue part of the color light spectrum.
Now, for flowering, you sould use the one farthest to the left which is around the red/orange of the color light spectrum.
You should also 43W CFL which is equal to a 150W normal light bulb.
