hey im new to growing havent started yet but i just bought a 3 pack of 26w 2700k cfls that give off 1750 lumens each i have a short and small stealth grow and trying to grow5 seeds to harvest under these (number of plants will depend on the male:female ratio)
i am going to be using marical gro .10-.5-.5
for my soil with nothing else
no nutes will be added at all
the grow room i thik is abut 15" depth 16" hight and 9" width with nothing in it i am using white printing paper on the walls and roof/floor for reflection cuz i thought it would work better then foil(causes heat spots?)
i have a homemade light reflector or hood or whatever its calld for the lights i made it out of a lid for a shoe box i have 3 holes for the 3 26w 2700k cfls and they r in stalled with this and chains to my grow cabnit (will show pics)
i will be bvuying already germed seeds off my friend and the soil
i need to know whats the shortest pot u can use? i need a short wider type of tuppaware for my grow becuz of the hight restrictions please help and will these lights work for at least 3 plants? (short and bushy)
i have a grow cabnit disign in my sig cheack it out if it helps

please post ANY advice and help u can i am NEW and need tons of help with my grow

P.S i will be making a grow journal in a week or so once i have the seeds germining at my friends house and have the soil in the right pots happy 4:20

i guess ill try it anyway and hope for the best anyone veiwed the lst plant that whent around the pot? (big plant but i can tery this with a shorter plant right? ill make the main stem go around the pot so it stays short

Hey Doc, You can train your plant if space and light is limited. Maybe a sea of green set up will work better. Research the forums and youtube. Here's a guy on Youtube that gives a great bonsai tutorial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d7qG-pKTUXk

I did something similar and I would say that 3 cfls wont be enough for flowering more than like 1 plant unless you did some lst early or something. Right now I've got 2 plants going with 4 26w 2700k cfls and there is very little light going to the lower branches. I wish I woulda did lst earlier. You can check my grow out in my album. Also, I'm pretty confident that it wont be big enough for a normal grow. My plants started flowering at like 12in i think and are just about 3ft now. Again, I didn't really do much to keep em short. sorry for being so negative.

this is what i will be doing but making it very small and seting lights too 12/12 from seed-harvest and hopefully i can get the plant(s) to harvest when they are only 12"ish or 14"ish will that work if i tie them down? maybe ill stick to only do 2 plants at a time but ill try 3 and try to get them to sex and ditch the male if i get 2 females but if i get 1 female i might keep 1 male so i can get some seeds
