Yeah... the topping looks good. You did the right thing.. now you are going to get more colas.. and with the LST you re doing.. you are going to get some pretty plants... good job.

Is it pointless to LST and top the same plant? Aren't they both doing the same thing?

No.. you can do both... as in you top to get more colas.. and then you LST to shape the plant.

i FIMed mine when i lst.

its cutting the very top of the new growth off the plant. search it out. FIM stands for "fuck I missed" lol

you LST to shape your plants and get light to the shadowed lower branches... tack on a topping and then you get 2 fatty top colas and some good size branches... you cant go wrong!

Hey guys. I didn't get a chance to take any pictures te last couple days, but I checked on the plants and they are doing awesome. I gave both plants a good watering today, with nutes. I used the Alaska Fish Emulsion at quarter strength, and a couple drops of superthrive to help with any stress the little one might have.

The Thai plant that I topped the other day has started to form its new branches. Things are looking like it worked just right. I don't think I'm going to top it again, but I plan to tie it around most of the edge of the pot before I start flowering. I can already see that the LST is going to help alot with keeping the plant compact.

My Sour Diesel plant is doing pretty good. It seems to be lagging quite a bit, but there is enough new, healthy growth to keep my hopes up. It is getting tall enough for me start LST, but I might wait awhile longer until the plant looks strong enough.

I'll be posting some pictures tomorrow so you guys can see some of the progress they're making. Hope you guys are having a good weekend.

What haapened with ya grow man, wha issues did you run into?
Im doin a cfl rubbermiad grow myslef. Been vegging for about 33 days now. Ill place em in flowering this cming friday.
