Default How to cool down?
Anyone have any suggestions on how to cool/vent a closet setup without drilling a hole in the wall or door?

So far my only thoughts are buying and installing another door w/ a vent but I really don't want to do that.

I only need to drop the temp about 10 degrees.

Open the door? Maybe you can channel it through a small opening or something, but in order to maintain a useful CFM you need to speed up the air flow, which increases noise.

You can mist the leaves, and the water evaporating will cool the plants down, but hot air generated by lights has to go somewhere.

If you were trying to be really stealthy maybe you could shave an inch off the bottom or top of the door, and use that space as an air vent.

I just crack the door and have a small desk fan inside - seems to work pretty well.

I was thinking more along the lines of something permanent. I can't leave the door open or light will get in.
