Ok. I know Im new and I should be searching not starting topics. I am sorry. I have not seen this idea anywhere yet. I have searched for it.. And I have been doiing a TON of reading and have not come across it.

Auto flowering strains - 24 hours of light in flowering stage?
I know 12/12 is optimal for flowering stage. But so is quantity of light. So would an auto flowering strain that would be good for cfl, something like diesel ryder or low ryder still flower under 24 hours of light and would it be an improvement? Would it flower well under 18,6?

I guess Im asking would the yield be better under 24 or 18 hours of light then under 12. Any ideas? Anyone experiment with this yet? Point me to the results if there are any please.. I havent found any. THnaks.

you didn't search hard enough because their is info on this. But they say more light more bud i think. you can do 24hours

itd be cool to use a few clones and run 18/6 16/8 14/10 etc and see what strains respond to what better. More suited for the bigger guys. I dont have enough room or $$ to play with like that. But itd be cool to see. Or maybe 18/10. Ya never know..

I think you are right. It has something to due with the sugars that were stored during the light period being used as energy for growth during the dark period. Producing protective resins for the oncoming winter. At least I think it is something like that. I put my autos in the 12/12 area at about 3 weeks. It is just the way my space works out under the hps. But as the others have said. This site has many examples of autos under all kinds of conditions. As long as you keep them alive I do noy see how you can go wrong. And I see you are doing some diesel ryders, nice choice, you will love the buzz but get ready for some stink when they really start too fill out!
