Alright guys, so i planted my seeds around March 27th and 2/9 came up April 1st. The two have been going for 4 days, now and im worried that they are a little stretched. Also three more popped up yesterday!!

- Two 23 watt CFL
- Two 13 watt CFL
- One 75 watt Indoor grow light from home depot lol







Should i be moving them closer to the light?
or are they fine as they are right now?

I plan on moving them out into a bigger grow area where i have 2 400W HPS when they get bigger.

Get them as close as you can to the lights without burning them. CFL's can put out some heat but you can get as close as 2 inches away without hurting the seedlings.

I would not exactly say they are stretched because they are still on the embryonic leaves. When the first set of true leaves grow, I would just bury the plants right up to them.

Alright, thanks for the response. I moved them a little closer, but since i have that 75 watt grow light i couldn't get too close because it gives off a lot of heat, and that's what keeps my closet nice and warm.
They should be fine though. I also have some 10-52-10 fertilizer and Calcium Nitrate. Just wondering when would be the right time to use them. I figured i would use the Calcium Nitrate when i transplant into larger pots. And then the 10-52-10 for a week or so and just switch to 20-20-20 until flower?
