ok, i think i am going to run out of space in my current grow cupboard so im planning on building a new one inside an ikea pax wardrobe,

the space i have in the wardrobe is:

3 feet wide,
2 feet deep,
3 feet high
the question is:

how much vertical space is needed?
im planning of growing lowryders under 485w of cfl comprising of:
1x 300w dual spectrum
1x 125w red spectrum
2x 20w cool white
1x 20w warm white

will this space be tall enough for lowryders?
bearing in mind the large cfl is 5 inches without a reflector,

yes, you have enough space but I would think about going to 12/12 flowering before a month of veg and make sure you tie down the tops.

I did some l.s.t. in my 2nd grow if you follow my sig link and search a bunch of pages back.

ok, well here are as few pics,
i made a new thread about it the other day but here are the pics incase anyone was watching this thread,


ive since repositioned the bulbs slighty and painted inside white, i also siiconed all the gaps to prevent light leaks,

there are:

2x exhaust fans in top,

1x inlet fan in bottom left side

1x small fan inside 2 help circulation,

1x 125w red spectrum cfl

1x 300w dual spectrum cfl

1x 20w cool white cfl

homemade co2 generator



all seems to be going well,
maybe a little slow growth but nice short very bushy plant which i can confirm is female!

also 1 clone is doing really well i may start to flower them this wednesday

im going to add a few more bulbs to it as the lights will be going to 12/12,

so from the electricity ill save going from 18/6 to 12/12 i think i will be able to add a few more watts for not much more pounds, maybe another 125w red spec and couple more 20watters

nutes: bio bizz grow 5ml per litre and supathrive couple drop per litre

u may be able to see in the pics has taken absolutely ages to root but seems ok now,
gonna veg till this wednesday then its time 4 12/12
