Hi fellas....I have 8-27wt 6500k bulbs and 4-4ft 6500 flouro tubes im using.My plants have just sprouted and are between 1.5-2 inches tall each.I have been doing 24/0 light and was wondering if I should switsh to 18/6 or just run24/0?Also should I mix up the Ks? Maybe a cool white and a warm white? Im not cloning or anything.Is it ok to change to 18-6 now?First time grower and I need all the help I could get.....Thank you

I'd just stay at 24/0 but you can change to 18/6 to save on elctricity if you'd like.
Your spectrum is good for now until you flower, when you do flower change all your cfl's to 2700k and keep the tubes you have for sidelighting.

a lot of people say that the plant can only use 18 hours of light efficiently an that any more is a waste,
but saying that i have heard that 20/4 promotes the fastest growth,
i just stick with 18/6 as its tried and tested to work well,

I've done 18/6 and 24/0, 18/6 seems to promote BETTER plant growth FER me! But thats me. Ya can stick w/yer 6500K fer veg , but go to 2700K fer flower, as already stated

Flower when you are half of what head room you have available. Then, yes, switch to 12/12 and let the magic happen. Don't speculate on sex until you see the definite signs of it. Then do not alter the light schedule other then shaving off time from the day. You can bump up the day time later in flowering. Just dont turn the lights on in the middle of the plant's night. Look into iguana lights for flowering. There is science here. I use one that I move around throughout the days. UVB is supposed to make the plant create more THC. I tried it and got many crystals added to what was a poor turnout for me. I think the same science can be applied to the first couple days of drying the harvest too.

Do you want plants with 1 main bud? Bushy w/several buds? How tall do you want them to finish?

Height is not a problem-7ft hi area. So im thinking I should let them get 2 and half-3 ft tall then flower? How soon should I add nutes and how often?Whats good to use thats common? Thanks again guys its much appreciated

I let my seeds use up all the nutes they carry b4 adding any. You pobly wont add until about week 2. Yes, let them grow like 3' then flower, since ya have so much room. If ya have an indoor garden store near you, yer nutes are damn near endless. Fer veg ya want High Nit levels, along w/good P and K. In flower, the Nit isn't needed as much and Yer P and K is higher. Schultz is a good one if ya have to go to HD or Lowes or Ace or wateva. Look fer the high first number in Veg
