Default CFL temperature

Hello all,
Quick question...
Would one 125w CFL produce less heat than six 20w ones?

I ask because with no ventilation six CFLs raised the temperature in my grow box to 45 degrees celsius.
I have since added two extra PC fans (intake + exhaust), but the temperature is still at about 40!

By removing half the CFLs (3 of 6) I have reduced the tempreature to 34 degrees, but this will not be enough light.

Any suggestions?

btw, I know that I can hold a burning 42, 65, or 85 watt CFL in my hand,without it burning me. I can NOT touch a burning 105 CFL but a second. They DO get HOT!
