Talking PICS-CFL about 250w Complete Grow Box
Alright so I have another thread on here with the earlier setup with these same plants. I made the new ) thread because i have completely updated my grow room-making a completely climate controlled environment. its comepletely sealed for light and almost for air. Its got two computer fans-one intake one outake. the outake is goin to my DIY carbon filter(instruction i found on this website gotta love Rollitup I still got my original lights 2 43w 6 23w and 1 27w for 251watts of light. And emergency blanket---will be changing to a glossy white paint for the whole interior-maybe sunday if the motivation is there ha. And last but not least my 6 inch fan. So my big one is about 11 inches today and my smaller on is like 4-5. OH my first ever trial clone is shooting roots!!! im helluh stoked. maybe one or two more days in the humidy dome then into a pot with soil. Feel free to leave suggestions. Peace, Sirus

Ya johnny there is a lil loss of airflow but i couldnt find a second mesh pencil holder so i improvised with a small plastic cup and drilled a bunch of holes in it. next time im gonna drill mad holes. I did the Walmart EZ DIY carbon filter from ZEN on here. it does work absolutely fucken perfect though. because of the little loss of airflow i might put a second exhaust fan, with another carbon filter just cause- or when i change the carbon ill just drill helluh more holes and ill bet thatll make the airflow even out perfectly. peace man sirus. oh and if anyone has any suggestions on when to flower tell me im thinkin another couple days to a week "she is about 7 weeks old.

My pencil cups didn't stack, so i devised a way to use one stocking, overlapped on the outside to hold the carbon. Works great for half the cost.

nice.
I'm thinking about stacking two fans on top of each other for more suction.
would that work? is that what you're doing?

Instead of stacking fans, add more input or output fans to create more pressure. I have 2 filters and fans moving air out, and one fan pushing in.

To use one pencil cup for filter:

1. Shove the cup all the way into the stocking, open side first.
2. Twist cup in stocking to secure the layer, then back over the container, inside out.
3. You will now have two layers of stocking on the outside of the cup, fill it with carbon.
4. Stretch the open end of the stocking to the side, take a needle and thread and sew the stocking onto the pencil cup. Push the stocking into the cup about half an inch to give a fan room to spin.
5. Save $4.50 by not using 2 pencil cups!

ya 2 exhaust is better than two intake--you want the hot air out and as long as you do that the cold air will be pulled in. i also went and got another thermometer this one is digital and humidity meter as well--you can also check to see the lowest and hottest temps it was while you were away-10bucks home depot
