i have 4 42 watt CFL's but it says 2700L not 2700K is this the same thing maybe just canadian? lol will this be enough to keep my plant alive and budding? my 400 watt hps pooped out and alot of cops are commen by so i thought it was a sign from god tellin me to go low heat

alright well since there are plenty of views like always and no replys i'll give some more info. im runnen a DWC system first time, did have the plant in dirt but put it into the DWC system with no signs of shock. PH is at 5.5 and im usen some crap miracle grow blue crystal nutes.. hydro shop wants 200 plus for genereal hydropaunic nutes so they can lick my balls. any help would be great i'll try and post a pic

K first off ya thats enough light for a maximum of 2 plants and 2700L (lumens) is not the same as 2700K. you have to look everywhere on the box and even check the bulb, bulb but it will show it somewhere. ps im in alberta. bring your ph up ^ to at least 6.2 and if you could post some pics i could help you further--i got some fertililizer from my hydro shop for lik 7 bucks and its brand name shit in magazines--a 1.1 pound container of it. i got a pic on my grow that is in my sig. I also continued that grow on my new one called cfl 250w grow room blah blah check it out. peace, sirus

I cant find the kelvin rating written anywhere on my CFL bulbs.

I know, its fuked, some only list it on the box!

oh and a lower number of K like 2700K is whats ideal for budding and a higher number like 6500K is great for veging, but a mixture of them is great as long as you keep a ratio in favor of what stage your in.

ok so tried adding pics but it seems like its taken for ever to upload them the bulbs i got are energy smart bulbs 42 watt doesnt say anything but 2700 lumens and on the bulb it says helical 42W 120 VAC 60 Hz 620 mA FLE42HLX/2/XL/SW..... im thinken the SW at the end stands for soft white? and looken at the box now i see it says it contains one bulbs and t4 in brackets... it deff not the bright light u need for vegging
