Those 2700 Ks are fairly ideal for flowering. They'll make your babies stretch. Run to the store, exchange the 2700s for 5500 to 6500K lamps in the 26 or 42W category (AKA 100-150W Equivalent Daylight CFLs) to veg those pups.

Look at my veg tent and see if you can get any new ideas. See how blue the light looks? Keep them low on the plants and you'll be VERY pleased in 4 to 6 weeks with how full and ready to charge they will be. The reddish color of the Soft/Warm whites you have now will result in taller spindly plants without much bud-generating energy.

Hope this helps!

I am a CFLs user and i love the vegg results i get from them; however, i still am a little confused about the budding aspect of it. Now i know that there are probably threads on RIU for explaining this BUT would anyone care to further educate me in the budding aspect of CFLs?

I have a 150watt CFL bulb with 2700k spectrum. Is the is adequate for budding?
