got to get rid of a plant but i want to take cuttings of it is it possible to root my cutting without any rooting hormones?
like i see people trying to clone plants in just water b4 is this possible or any other easier ways.

i tried the water method and alll i got was dead clones so i went and got the root gel hormone, cubes and a solution called clonex, soak the cubes ib r=the cloanex, then gel the clone tip and put em in the cube,,then put the cubes into the ;ittle hummity dome... this is my first time and i pra i did it rightydi don

ya man i bought some cloning powder from home depot for 3 dollars--they had the exact same bottle at the hydro store for 12 dollars.

You can poke holes in styrofoam big enough to drop the cuttings into ( leaf side up) and float it in a bowl or aquarium. It will take longer than doing it with cloning gel or power but it you put some light on them you should have roots in about 2-3 weeks. Change the water about every week and stir it up occasionally to get some air in the water. You might want to also look to see if Wal-Mart has any Super Thrive. 2 drops per gallon helps with clones.

i bought the root poder from home depot and it killed my cuttings very quickly. i dipped the cut cuttings in the powder and tried to water clone em. it should have grown roots in 6 days buy no doce. but now i have four or five cuttings i put in gel hormone crap and inoto the cubes. im gonna be soooo happy if this works. i have two females that i could cut 50 branches off em if i wanted,

what would you do flower a suppercropped and lst trained plant or would you rather have 40 or so clones from the same plant
