Fist grow ever. This site works! They really grew!

My plants are looking very healthy. 125w cfl bulbs with reflectors in a IKEA kullen wardrobe closet.



first day of flowering today, Jan 30th.

Very nice grow cab too. Is it vented at all?
Was gonna convert an old 36" tv to grow in but thats pretty sweet. Also hows it sealed light wise?

Thanks. I'm super excited. I used an IKEA kullen wardrobe closet ($150). It has two sides. I use the smaller right side for vegging and the larger left side for flowering.

I have a 6500k 150w cfl under a sun systems reflector on the veg side and 2700k on the flower side. One plug on each side.

I vented each side individually with two computer case fans ($15 for 4 at Fry's electronics). I use one to pull and one to suck on each side. It vents 35 square feet per minutes so they are getting a little movement and also a constant flow of fresh CO2. I wired the four fans to an AC adapter and plug them into one wall socket

I use foxfarm organic soil

Water every other day lightly, sometimes third day if the top soil is not crispy

And, feed twice a week with; Grow More Orchid Food Growth Formula.


I plan to use the Flower Formula starting today.

Oh yeah... For the Light sealing, I used household caulking for all the inside edges

and used thick black felt on the front door edges and applied it with a hot glue gun.

Super super easy jobs and working perfectly.

Can't see the black felt when it's closed, and keeps the light inside without any leaks

BTW, been high on blue dream all day!

I still hate on ikea! this is the only thing i own from there but it's great!

Comes white on the inside and you can put it together in less than an hour.

I decided to not install any of the shelves, but if you wanted to you could make two grow spaces on each side!
