I just bought a Sylvania CFL,
100 watt replacement using only 23 watts.
It's soft white though, 1600 lumens.

Will this work CFL work?

how many plants, just one i assume? if so itll work but the more the merrier... er, the more the more YOULL be merrier.

Jus one at the moment until I see how it turns out. If I setup turns out nice plants then I'll diff. get more. But it will work? If it does I'm planning on picking up a Y-Socket and another 2 lights tomorrow.

you can grow under cfls, but light, while a large part of growing, is not all there is to it. heat, nutes, cycles, location, general health.

I'm just asking if the CFL I bought today will work. Nutes come later after I get all my lights. So can someone give me a 100% it will work for one plant?
