First off... here is my grow room. I used a IKEA kullen wardrobe closet ($150). A four pack of computer case fans from Fry's electronics. The flowering and veg side each have one intaking and one pulling. I wired all four to a 12v AC adaptor so that they plug into one wall outlet The veg side has a sun systems reflector with a blue 125w cfl. The slightly larger flowing side has the same sun systems reflector but with a red spectrum 125w cfl. Both can be plugged directly into the wall. I used one bag of organic fox farm soil and no nutrients at this point. Watering them every other day sparingly. Total cost has been $350-400 but should yield smoothly and tasty for years to come!

What's inside for my first ever grow are 4 blue dream clones. They are probably at 4 weeks now since being cut off their mother plant, but only 15 days since being potted and put in their new IKEA home.

My question is when will be the best time to transfer them over to my flowering side and 12/12 lighting? Right now they are really growing strong each day and are about 7 inches from the soil to their tops.


Any ideas or comments with be useful!

You can put um in at 1 foot tall.

I can get up to about 4 feet tall total in the flowering side. So if I flower at 1 foot would that most likely be the biggest yield?

Well if you want 4 feet,your gonna need more light.They look sativa,so there gonna stretch a bit.You could try 18inches. if you want.I usually do 18in. with indicas.

you only go as tall as your light will penetrate and be useful otherwise you are wasting time. your using cfl which is ok but not the most powerful so I would keep them short that way your light is being used right and you wont have skinny string bean plants your plants will double to tripple in height when you flower so keep that in mind and plan accordingly. good luck and happy grow

These plants are becoming very strong and heathly right now. Getting ready to put into flowering room at 12 inches. Should be by the end of the week.

I am going to be using the same kullen wardrobe. I was wondering if you have anymore pictures. the more the better. I'm trying to move all of my growing activities into the wardrobe because it will give me the fun i want of being gardener, but also limit me to not go too crazy with it and close it off from the world. It's the compromise I made with my girlfriend. Because right now I have my super lemon haze mother taking up a whole corner of our room always having the fan on and it bugs her. So if I get a wardrobe, I can grow as much as I want i it as long as it looks like a normal wardrobe from the outside. Things we do for love...

Looks great, my one suggestion would be to get more flower CFLs. A lot more. I only had my one girl, in the end, under 372 watts of CFLs - and ended up with an okay harvest, even after cutting her in half to try and clone her a couple weeks before throwing into flower. By the time I had flowered her, with the fimming, she had 2 main colas and was bout 12" tall.

My other experience is ventilation issues - I had 1x4" intake, 1x4" exhaust when I started, using only a 50cfm bathroom extraction fan to exhaust and passive intake. This was fine during veg with only 4x26w 6500k lights. As soon as I added the flowering lights into my closet though, all hell broke loose, and I would have had temps in the 95-100 range. I had to drill more passive intakes - ended up having 3x4" passive intakes, and a stanley blower sucking through a DIY carbon filter and blowing out at a very decent CFM. Temps ranged from 87-92 STILL, even with the apartment brought down to 68 degrees. I think if I would have had more intakes I probably could have dropped a few more degrees - but I still managed to harvest almost 1.5oz off her.

Anyway, as for the wardrobe - it looks fantastic, very stealth, and your girls look very healthy. Keep it up man! Happy Growing!
