Sorry for the newbie question, but this is my first time growing. I topped 5 plants in order to find a mom, that failed. I later found methods that worked, I currently move the SOG bottles at 5.5" height. However three of them are showing dual hairs only after vegging for 2 weeks with 24 hour light under 2 23W daylight bulbs. They haven't even switch to 12/12. Is this normal?

They came from not so great bagseed, so I would doubt autoflowering. Just curious, as the mom plants aren't showing sex, but the clones are.

Thats what confuses me, if they were auto flowering why aren't the moms showing signs. They are months older then anything else.

I've read that sometimes an overall lack of light can cause flowering. 2 x 23w is not very much light. It may just be preflowers. A lot of strains show sex in veg after they reach maturity. Don't forget, a clone is technically as old as it's mother.
