Alrite, i am a first time grower and have fallen at the first hurdle, i got my seeds from a mate who has just collected his first harvest, he had no problems germinate the seeds, and i have set up a similar way of germinatin that he did.... in the first couple of days my seeds didnt pop, so i decided to try and germinate them in soil under 4 20w cfls,
afta checking on them they sprouted good size roots (1inch) so i gave them some water and left them to ther own devices, its been a couple days and one of the seeds roots has disappeared leaving just the seed, the other seed hasnt made any improvement and the third seed has sprouted up through the soil, but has been very slow to get first leaves... i germinated all three seeds at the same time and its been nearly two weeks since germination was started....

either the seeds are a dodgy batch or im doing somethngwrong....

as i said at the start i am a complete amatuer and ne tips,info would be much appreciated as i am keen to grow my own....

prob dodge seeds, put wet paper towel in plastic sandwich box put seeds in cover with wet paper towel, put lid on and put somewhere warm and dark, when they sprout move them to pot.

yea mate think they must be dodge cuz we had them doing that for ages and got very limited response...new seeds i reckon then.

You should wait about a month before trying to germinate fresh seeds, at least 2 weeks. Also green or white seeds aren't going to do anything. Make sure the seeds are of a good size and are dark in color; optimally they look will like they have tiger stripes.

cheers, tho the seeds wer good size and colour, we gona concentrate on the 1 and fuckin onli 1 thats showed sign of promise, so hopefully that wont be a male!
this mite b a silly question but is ther much pont doinga scrog grow 4 1plant? we got a fairly good sized space ta do it, but jst wondering with it being such a senistive seed would this stress the plant?
