Im beginning to grow soon and have a DWC system(from stealth hydro), a grow tent, but no lights. i know that i should get the best lights possible, but im ballin on a budget. i figure that cfls will suffice for the mean time. i'll have to get at least two different kinds: one for veg and another for flower right? How many would i need for both phases of growth? i was thinking two each but i dont know. Let me know if you can help. thank

I'd run a minimum of about 100 real watts per plant. It can be a little lower but not much lower than about 85 watts. These are the real watts, not the incandescent equivalent.

Im thinking about getting 2, 125 watt cfls. one 2700k and the other 6400k. would i be able to successfully grow both phases? or should i get different spectrums/wattages ect...?
