how does this compare to what you are using.

Is this add crazy with its claims?

Initially, I did find those claims exaggerated. T5's to compare to a 400W HPS?! And then I did the math. It's true. Amazingly, they're telling the truth.

There are two sides to this. Positive side, less energy consumption and no need for an expensive ballast. Negative side, lots of lamps to change, lots of room occupied by this lamp.

yeah I hear you, plus the price is quite high ...
