Ok so i'm going to grow for the first time indoors. I can grow at my sis house and want to setup a lil grow box or something ...

I'm going to grow 2 or 3 plants and i need to know how many lights to put on each plant and exactly which lights would work . I was going to get 2 2700K 29 Watts CFL bulbs and 2 6400K 29 watt bulbs for each plant. would that be enough? Thats a total of 12 bulbs. And i was going to just grow bag seeds... Would that be enought lighting to get tthe plants from seed to flowering??

I'm growing in a 22x14x28" cabinet (err... am starting to), its got 5 CFL's, if I were to veg I'd use mostly 23w 6500k bulbs, but because of size limitations i'm doing a micro SOG so when the seedlings/clones go in they're gonna be 12/12 from start, i'll probably end up using 42w 2700k bulbs though right now i've got a mix
Rather than asking how many bulbs per plant you need, I think you're looking for how many bulbs for the amount of space you're gonna be growing in.... if you want to have a plant thats 5 feet tall you PROBABLY need more than 4 cfl's each... but if you're like me and wanna grow in 16 oz soda bottles, 2 or 3 plants could share one bulb basicly....

if you put in reflectors and line the inside youll be fine.... 6 veg bulbs is fine but maybe 8-10 for the flower. lights important when you flower more watage during this time always equals more bud

alrighty thanks guys!! and i gots a question, do these bulbs get hot or create heat? especially at higher temps

yes they can especially in a small enclosed place with no ventilation.....
