Default Question on Flowering with CFLs.
Hey all! Okay, so here is my setup so far:

1xBarneys Farm 8 Ball Kush seed growing for three weeks (not sexed yet). http://www.cannabis-seeds-bank.co.uk...ush-2619-p.asp
3 Gallon DWC (rubbermaid). I used the GrowFaq as an example.
4x23W (100w replacement) CFL's in Daylight Spectrum (5500k)
4x23W (100w replacement) CFL's in Soft White Spectrum (2700k)
2xPassive Air Intake vents
1xAir Exhaust vent w/80CFM cpu fan
1xGrow-Box in closet (23"x17"x48") (interior measurements)
1x120CFM fan internal to grow area for circulation.
Fox Farm Hydroponic trio Nutrient Solutions

My Grow area is located in a closet, I live with my wife who consents to growing (she's as big a pothead as me), but not to posting pictures on the net. Right now, my little grow operation is running fine. My plant is about six inches tall and has seven nodes to date (3.5weeks since seed).

I have a relatively small grow area, and the wife and I have agreed that a HPS is out of the question since we don't have the ability to cool one. Also, we would rather not have as big of a fire hazard in the house and an HPS in a closet is asking for one. My question is this: Can anyone tell me what a good affordable lighting setup (with CFL's) would be for flowering? I'm looking to get like a 125W or 200W CFL (2700K) but I can't decide where to buy them. I saw some decent CFL lighting on the Stealth Hydroponics sight, but they were kind of expensive. Also the Envirolites look good but I'm in the US and all the ones I have found online so far are 220v instead of 110v....Any help would be good. I'm interested in people who have used CFL's effectively, and I am not interested in ideas to "cool my grow" for an HPS.

Thanks in advance RUI!! Your Awesome!!

So are you just growing one plant? if so just replace those 23w 2700k bulbs with 42w 2700k bulbs. The bulbs are tipically sold individually for around $8-$10. Fourty dollars not bad eh?

Will that be enough light for some nice buds? I heard if you don't have a 125w or better you won't get enough light penetration for the buds.

$15 dollar 68w 2700k 300w replacements from Home Depot. They are the best thing ever. Just get like 2-3 of those and you're good.
