Hey all, I just started my own soil grow and need some suggestions. I was very impatient on waiting for my new aero garden to arrive so I planted my own bag seeds in some solo cups. Currently Day 5.

I have 4 CFL's which are all 27w. Three which are 5500k and one 2500k. I have very limited space for veg. My small box is 1 foot 8" high, 1 foot 2'' wide and 1 foot deep. I placed small pc fans to keep the air moving in the box. One blowing air in on the bottom and one sucking air out on the top. The temp is 68 degrees f.

As you can see I placed a small cardboard box in my wooden box to keep the plants closer to the lights to prevent them from streaching. Can I actually veg in this box with just a plant or two? I have a larger box to move them to for flowering later on but for now, this small space is all I got. Should I add more lights? It seems 4 CFL's are pretty dam bright in this small space and with the reflective siding I can barely see in when watering. Can I go a full veg or will it get to crouded? I need to keep them in this box as long as I can before moveing them to the larger box for flowering.

Will be useing fox farm soon, I ordered some awating for its arival along with the dam aero garden that took forever!

Any advise or suggestions would help, this is my first grow. Thanks

bumped.. anyone can i go a full veg in small box

i dont see why not as long as u have enough room for the to grow
plus u can train them too instead of just growing them up
might need more lighting though and the ones on the side should be looking at the plant not below the cup or just put the plant in see threw cups it would help alot to cause then ull know when the roots are growing alot and then ull know when u have to repot them into bigger pots.thats when u are going to have to worry about space.if u have 2 4 or 5 gallon pots already try to see if u could fit them both in there at the sae time.
if not then when time comes and ur plants get bigger then u wont have enough room.

me no i grew from seeds
i went from paper towel to mixed soil and thats it
and a few times i just droped a couple seed in soil and they all grew didnt even need to germinate them
