so in about a week i'll be starting my buds for less grow and I only have 2 questions

-is miracle grow soil with 3 month feed the same as miracle grow 3 month feed moisture control? and when I say "the same" I mean PH

and would fish emulsion and molasses be a good addition to the miracle grow food? and should I use the fish emulsion all the way through even flowering?

If you had the money for the book, you have the money for a bag of FF Ocean Forest soil. Miracle grows I've all seen just don't compare. Why put yourself at a disadvantage from the get go?

I have to agree, I'm finishing my first grow and I won't use MG again ever. I think GK's book is a valuable tool for someone like me who had no idea how to get started.

I saw the book in Borders the other night, but honestly RIU has provided me with more than enough knowledge to grow the way that book instructs. The thing I did like however, is that my progress is about equal to that of the books.

ditch the MG dude and anything like it. Go to a hydro store or an upscale nursury and find FFOF or Pro Mix or Coco and go that route.

Yea bro listen to us and go with Fox Farm, or if you can get the Black Gold brand Coco Blend it's $15 for 2 cubic ft thats 1/4th more than the Fox Farm and it's OMRI listed and you get a better root system and bigger bud's in Coco... The Fish Emulsion is great I take it you got the Alaska brand?? if so you should also get the Alaska Morbloom 0-10-10, Superthrive, and the molasses and bro you'd be set and have better quality bud's and be organic on top of all of it!!!
