Default CFL Heat Issue
So right now im vegging with 4 27 wat 6500k cfls, only 3 plants in a 20gal tub. Lined iwth mylar, computer fan exhaust, oscialting fan and an intake fan on the lid (lid is off in picture). Im going 24/0 with the lights so all fans are up and running nonstop. With the lid on temps get to be 94F!!!!! So right now im currently growing them without the lid on alltogether and temps are down to about 88F(still too high). Its really annoying because when i feel the air right above/around the plants it feels rather cool and breezy do to the large fan i have inside the tub. So since i have such good airflow are these temps going to affect my plants? They seem to be doin fine so far, but they are only 1 week old so...i dunno. Im thinking that adding another exhaust fan will cure this problem for the most part and hopefully i can put my lid back on (this is a stealth grow). I just didnt think that the box would get this hott when im jsut using cfls and have (atleast i think i do) good ventilation. So any help is greatly appreciated, pics below is how i am running this setup and a couple shots of the babies.

I have a similar problem, and I have a big fan in the bottom of the box. So if I were to poke holes in the top of my box near the lights would the hot air move through them?

Okfirst picture is close up on the exhaust fan (computer fan). THen second picture shows you how its at the top of the box sucking hot air out of the box (so the warmth from lights that are right below the fan is sucked out of the box) Then i have a picture of my other fan that brings fresh air intot he box and also is pointed right on the lights and plants. It cols the lamps and shakes around my plants. The girls are between 7-11 days old and half of them have been outdoors for about a week(i just brought em in it is gonna be cold tonight). and the middle plant with the grate over her im planning on tying her down later. Hope this helps
