I'm keeping a grow journal but I haven't seen much interest, I thought some other folks running CFL's would be interested.

Anyway, I'm back with the last of my seeds from Attitude seed Co. I rigged an inline fan to push air out my window to help keep temps and smell down. Two 65w flouros can act like a mini heater, it would up the temps in my room by 5 degrees. This setup seems much better and the temps are consistently 80-84 degrees.
I'm using a peat/verm/perlite/worm castings mix
two 65w flouros with a 42w "warm". That makes for 11,000 lumens in my 1 square foot of growing area. I'm using Jack's classic bloom booster now 10-30-20
ph was getting around 7.4 and I just watered with pH 6.5 to adjust. Hopefully that doesn't shock them. Here are some shots, they are coming along. Roughly 6 more weeks to go!




Your comments and thoughts are appreciated. They seem to be lacking Nitrogen as the lower leaves have been yellowing. However, I see a lot of lowryders that seem to do this to some extent...

they looks great man better with hps for sure i know or metal halide for sure but keep up the good work

I think they look great. How old are they. What nutrients are you using.

I've got three AK47 Lowryders that have those same pistil clumps. I growing in an Aerogarden Pro 100 with Fox Farms nutrients.

How's the smell with those? I almost got those, maybe next time. Right now even with the vent I'm still smelling the ladies from time to time. My cab is stupid small and I might move to a bigger setup and run hydro next time.
I like the autoflowering although it would be nice to clone so the male/female ratio thing wasn't an issue. Plus, always having to do seed runs could become a problem.

the pics are of around day 29 i believe. I think I could see better results if I moved to a different nutrient blend. I'm using Jack's Classic blossom booster.

couple of new shots...can't figure out what's going on with my nutrient situation. It seems like the plant can't keep older growth alive. The pH is maybe 7.5? Could this create a nutrient lock-out situation? Last pic suggests nutrient burn to me...

Almost harvest time. I can't figure out when to pull...I planned for Jan 23rd. I feel like they are almost ready. I want to error on the side of early. I just can't tell if these trichs are clear or frosty? What do you think?
