just got a high UV spec'd T8 today for my all fluorescent grow .. on day 2 so far from seed ill be posting pics at some point but i dont really see a purpose at this point.. anyone else come across high UV outputting tube ?

What brand are they?? I have some of the Lights of America Grow Lights and they are 2ft T8's and they are 7800K with a purple tint to the light not sure if they are uv or not and they are only 17w but they are great for cloning and veggin

im not sure of the brand i lost the box thing but they do have the purple tint.. only they are 15 w lol i found em at a local hardware store specifically labeled as a "plant light" so i thought "why not" have you yourself tried them ? or anyone for that matter
