ive done lots of reading
and im deciding lighting while seeds are germing
cfl looks best to me
seems to be the new oncoming lights
at least for minimal room
i have small box ready for veging but like i said
im deciding on lights and going with cfls
was gonna do hps but after seeing that its alot more work
going with the ballast and such
im just gonna do cfl

first question
how many cfls can you plug into one socket?
really dont wanna burn the house down
plants arent quiet worth that
almost but not

second question
what is ideal wattage for veging
ive seen where people use just one or two
i was thinking four

third question
four cfl lights at 4watts
would that work using 3 splitters off of one socket?

after they germ and i put them in dixie cups
should i put baggies over them for the green house effect?
like just until they sprout with their first set of leaves?
or just do without baggies

everywhere ive read it says water every three days
how much water exactly?
1 cup? 2? 3? 4?
for some reason im doing this like they are babies
real screaming crying babys haha
i just dont want to over or under water them
and seeing how they show no signs while they are still in the soil
i wouldnt beable to tell what is going on

In the top left of page this will answer most of your questions . 500 watts on one plug easily, provided your wiring is'nt fuked, and 4 watt bulbs aint gonna cut it go to home depot get the 40 watters 6500k for veg 2700-3000k flower. 40-50 watts per plant is the going range i belive , dont seran wrap your babes and go easy on the light for a few days , its my advice to not use miricle gro nutes , but go organic if at all possible ,alaska 5,1,1fish emulson from lowes is pretty good for veg and their bloom formula for flower . Unless you can afford fox farms

your gonna def need at least 12 or more 23-27 watt cfl... try to get a mix of daylight and soft white. i use more daylight for veg and throw soft in for flowering 12-12. that many plants you can start to flower after the fourth set of leaves or so... i do six.. Stay away from prenuted soil.. get some nice soil and add mj specific nutes.. foxfarm.. dr.hornsby... i use advancenutrients.com.. its pricey but can double your yield per plant by being cannabis specific.. I fucken hate shultz so stay clear of it.. i do use mg organic and its nice but takes a green thumb to battle the deficiencies

Lowes is a good call. but most homedepots carry daylight lowes lack in that specific bulb... they also have shop lights 2 bulb t12 4fters... great flowering supplimental light.. you can pop 4 to 6 of them in and get great total light... you have to figure atleast 40-50 watts a square foot. I use three bulbs per extension cord.. i have seen six.. or more.. 500 is max on one cord.. make sure you use a surge protector going into your wall outlet...
