Default Small Question..
Let me start this off by saying that I haven't even purchased any CFL bulbs or anything yet. I just have a quick question. I read through a few CFL FAQ's and I didn't see the answer to my question so..

- How do you hook up CFLs? I know they plug into a normal light socket, but how do you plug in multiples? I have never messed with light sockets before other than screwing lights in.

Thanks for the help! I really enjoy browsing this forum.

CFL's work in regular sockets. You dont need any special ballast because they themsleves are self ballasted.

yea I read about not needing ballasts. I guess I'm still confused as to how people get such high numbers of these in convenient spots with long cords..

I buy 3-4 light vanity fixtures that have like 4 lights in a row on a chrome fixture. i put splitters on them and get 6-8 bulbs per fixture. The fixture is only 10 dollars and the splitters are VERY EASY to steal.
