I have already done hours of research, I just wanted to know if that is a good deal or not before I buy it, that is all.

I actually found a t8 at walmart for like 15 bucks so Im gonna buy that and then buy 4 or 5 cfl 100 watts.

I guess I'm unfamilar with the t5's and t8's, im going to have to do more research.

is that a 100 watt equivelent? many people talk in actual wattage on the forum so that will help ya to understand what people are doing. The equivelant is just a incandesant comparison but the actual wattage is what you want to know. If you are doing 4 of 5 100 watters you won't have any problems with enough light!

Yes the cfl would be 1oo watt equivalent something like 23/1oo watt I think. I know the t5 are better then the t8 but not by to much, at least that is what I read about on the net. Im gonna get the t8 because the price is way lower. Anyways thanks for the apology and I have two that sprouted and one that should in a few days. Im hoping for at least one male and one female because I only have a few more seeds left.

sounds good, i started a journal and we're pretty close to the grow so maybe we can compare/contrast and bs about our plants

Also, as far as the fixtures go you can get the 4 ft fixtures from HD for about $8 a piece which will hold two tubes, you'll need extra for side lighting.... Good luck
