Default Light Question with color range and cfl
so if i had 8 light sockets on 3 plants and they are vegging and I'm using 8 23w 6500k cfls but should i be using my 4 42 watt 2700k that i was using for flowering, a few scenarios

1. 8 sockets the same plan = 184w then 252w
2. 8 sockets switch now for more wattage (252w)
3. 8 sockets(23w) for veg and 12 sockets(add 42w) for flower= 352w at flower
4. 12 sockets for veg with all 23s then switch to 4-6 42s at flower
5. 12 sockets now with all lights the whole time

Basically what I'm asking refers to what I've heard that during the grow phase the plants appreciate higher spectrum light and in veg stage they like warm lows but i was wondering if adding the 42w would hurt or just be more light. Also any other suggestions would be helpful.

thanks for the help

Many say that you should always use blue spectrum exclusively in veg period

However, some say if you do mix spectrums then make sure you never exceed a 2 blue to 1 red ratio.

Either way, you'll be cool.

DUDE! noooo. It def. would not hurt to add more light man. Just make sure its the right spectrum. Veg cycle - plants like blue daylight 6500k (kelvin temp)
Flower Cycle - plants need 2300k-3000k temp color. Bulbs will have more of a red color in the light... than it did with a 6500k.

But yea.. LIGHTS LIGHTS LIGHTS! The more the better... always!.
