So i am thinking of a grow op in a closet in a apartment. What are the ups and downs of an apt. grow? Could someone refer me to a nice cfl grow? I want to do it as a hobby not a big grow i just want to make a plant flower.

As far as the apt growing goes, the first thing I'd do is kinda get an idea of when you know the maintenance people are going to be by so you're not surprised. Most will tell you when they have to come in to change filters or check the smoke detectors or something like that. DONT TELL ANYONE lol but thas the obvious, I figured I'd say it before someone else did.

Figure out something to do for smell and since the can get stinky in flowering. CFLs dont do too bad with heat but it's always good to have some type of fan/ventilation moving air around in the area you decide to grow in. It also helps the plants get sturdy stalks and stems.

Pic 3...My CFLs, 4 42 Watters 4 23 Watters 1 26 Watter and 5" exhaust fan
Pic 4...Built in computer fan on top half blowing air across CFLs

It's all up to you though, this is just my setup it's convenient right now and stealthy cause I can disconnect everything in less than a minute and move the whole setup. Just use ur imagination and make it as stealthy as possible and the last thing, just be cool about it Hope you enjoy!

for an idea.. the link in my sig, is a box that is 2x2x2 'tv stand' in my appt.
i do 12/12 from seeds, this is my first time with it though.. FYI :P
