Ok so here it goes........ This is my first Full Blown CFL grow!
I'm workin with 12,500 lumens growin outta my closet.....

Startin my seeds in recycled paper cups, that way when they are ready to be bumped up to bigger pots I can move them without disturbin them much and I can put the cups right into the water and have no worries with the roots.......

I have all of them in a moisture control soil from Miracle Grow with added perlite and Rich Earth. I posted a thread on Rich Earth with a link to the site if anyone wants to check it out- just do a search for it.......

I soaked my seeds for 24 hours and put them in the cups. The cups are so close together because they arent the most stable things.

There is a heating pad underneath the bin for added warmth while they are germin.

Other than that, it started, and I'll keep it updated as much as possible.I gotta get a new camera, my dumb ass threw away the instalation CD..so hopefully when I get a new camera I'll have some growth goin on!

Looking good, try to get hold of a cam soon.. and try keeping a little schedule of when you water it and stuff, or make any changes to its' environment.

Thanks, the temp has been droppin crazy at night and it takes too long for the house to heat back up, so I figured the heating pad would keep it regular, and plus when the heat does come on, it wont fluctuate the temp too drastically.

Next time sprout them in paper napkins,6 paper napkin's folded vertically,then folded again.then place the "wet square napkin with the seeds in it" on top of a styrofoam plate,and cover it with another plate.Place in a dark warm area until they sprout.Keep it clean.

I've always just soaked them 24 hours in a dark warm place and then dropped them in the soil with a pretty good success rate. I figure that way I don't have to worry about messin up the tap root it has when I do transplant them to soil.....Many a seeds have I lost cuz of that......No matter how careful and gentle I was somehow I still fucked em up......

One thing though. I know you said you have 12,500 lumens, but we need more details, so we know how to help you...
-How many, and of what wattages, CFLs do you have?
-What are their color temperatures?
-What are the dimensions of your grow space?
-What strain? Or if you don't quite know, are they indica or sativa dominant?
-What do you have for ventilation?
-If a train leaves LA at 4:20 going 42mph, and a train leaves NYC also at 4:20 going 34mph, when will I get stoned?

A girly-girl's first closet CFL grow of mystery bagseed

Ok my Floro tubes are 40 watts each and give off 3050 lumens each bulb.
I have 4 CFL's that give off 1600 lumens each and I believe they are Daylight bulbs
Right now they are in a 30-40 gallon storage bin, but after they outgrow that they will be in roughly 3x5x5 closet.
As far as strain goes- out here no one know jack about this shit, so i couldn't tell you- but from everything that I have had out here I would say it Indica dominate.
Ventilation-- not worried about that.... smell don't bother no one in the house and I live out in the middle of nowhere so no worries about any of that.......

The answer to that my dear friend is the sooner you light up, the sooner you get there!
