So i went to bed at 5:30 this morning, and i checked on my landslide plants, with no germination. at this point, it has been 7 days of germination. Its now 9:48, and i woke up not to long ago. I have 10 seeds, but only using 4 at the moment. I have 2 sprouted, and possibly waiting on the other 2.

Heres the thing about my setup. Its a very small growing case. It has been used before, and worked pretty good. I have an old school Dell server, and i converted that into a grow box. Im not sure on the dimensions, but i think its like 8" wide, 24" deep and 36" tall.
At the moment im only using one Cfl, 2700k (23/26 watt - to lazy to look) but i have 3 2700k, and 3 6500k bulbs that get packed into this case. Im figuring about 6k in lumens, which makes for some decent bud. Heat is an issue but not in the way you think.
With all 6 bulbs on, the case is only 80* degrees (f). With only the one (for germination) its ~70 during the day. I have 3 fans - one on intake, one on my homemade charcoal filter, one for intake and one to move air around - all old pc fans rigged up to a 12v adapter (fans are .19amps (push) .25 amps (free standing), .19 amps (pull)). My starting pots are 64 oz containers.

Oy, so i guess this thread is useless without pictures - so I'll go take some, and then I'll post them.

(and no i have NO idea what Landslide is. I know its a 60/40 indica/sativa blend. I got it from dr chronic with my lowrydr #2 for free, and im not gonna let them go to waste, so yeah)

those dell servers are decent size. should make a nice little stealth box.
that was my original plan for a stealth op, then i decided to make a 2x2x2 'tv stand' hehe. i think i might use the PC case i set up for clone,veg after i get something goin in the box i built..

sounds good though, hope it works out.

I think the case would make an awesome clone box. I may use it as just that once this grow is done. you would be surprised what can be done in a case though.

for the soil, im using the same method as last time. Its 45% maricle grow bloom soil, 10% sand, 35% pete moss, and 10% soil from the good outdoor soil (baked, then frozen - and cooked soil smells horrible...). This way the "soil" has excellent water retention, but yet can still breath and grow great.

Good start... I would get the babies into 1 plant ...1 pot... now, before they grow any bigger..they're easy to transplant now with a big spoon.. don't want roots tangled...

Update:
I transplanted one of the babys into another pot, and centered the other one.
I added 3 lights, gave them soda can reflectors (2 lights per plant), used a smaller reflector and made another one out of a plastic cup. In one of the pics you can see the only 2 spots were light leaks through (top corners of the case were the case slides into the plastic front panel). So far looking pretty good. The case averages 81 with all 4 lights, and 65% humidity. I'll update again shortley

Okay so i know i just updated yesterday. But today I actually got to use my olympus camera... I had to tear apart the house to find it [and go buy batterys when i went to get my coffee], but i did it.
Still using the 4 cfls, and (considering i have a bearded dragon, and a leapord gecko) have an extra 18" 15 watt 8.0uvb repti-glo bulb that i am going to add once the plants are a little bit bigger and can utilize it (along with the other cfls).

But i need the help of the RIU community. I need names for my little (hopefully) girls.... Best I came up with was Slash and Blaze.. and I'm not sure if i like the names enough to keep or not.

Another Update,

They look amazing (i think anyways)... Other than that, not too much to add.. 104 (real, not the fake number) watts at the moment, highest temp is 86 degrees F, and 55-65% humidity, with 24 hours of light a day.
