Noticed the HD had a display of colored CFL's including Red ones. Anyone try them for flowing? I was thinking might be good addtion to current white CFL's at this time.

well.. red is for flowering ..blue for veg ... u can even mix them in for vegging and flowering

If your using white CFLS for flowering get some red ones ASAP!

Do literally mean they have red CFLs, as in red glass?

No it means they give off light in the "RED" spectrum,
which is good for flowering.

no the Color Temerature has to be 2700K-3100K for flowering and 5000-6500K for vegitation.

i think i saw the same ones your talking about , i think they also had yellow , blue , and green .they are like party lights or something. did you also look around the cfls and find the 300W'ers ? i picked up 2 they are 2700K and if i remember correctly , they are like running 65W or so , put'em on 2 days ago and have noticed fuller looking buds .
