Just A Few CFL growing questions

Hey there one and all!

iv recently started growing with cfl's and im looking for sum answers
that i havnt been able to find yet so im hoping they find me

firstly, growing fact states that temps should be around 70degrees
for good growth and any lower than 62 will halt growth, below 52 will
slowly kill plant but with my cfl's i get hardly any warmth or heat at all
and are struggling to keep the temp above 59 degrees so for those who hav tried it i hav a small seedling under a 15w warm wite bulb, what do i do to keep the temp up?
second question is - once my mother plants are the height i want them
and cant grow any bigger or they'll out grow the room, how do i stop
the vertical growth entirely as to keep the plant at the height i want it
without it flowering or harming the plant in a deadly way using cfl lites?

first you could add more cfls of a larger wattage to up da heat second just trim them bitches down a lil wont hurt them!

Yes, you need to do more reading here if you are asking that Q - read up on topping, FIM, and LST. All of those can help you reduce vertical growth and better, INCREASE YIELD.

As for heat, add more bulbs like mistaphuck said, or get non-CFL (will be much hotter) standard incandescent bulbs and add them into your area but not close to the plant - it will help heat the air near the plant but won't cook the plant. Heat rocks and space heaters also work. Just make sure you don't lose your humidity whilst doing this.

Lst is low stress training, and is a method of bonzaiing the plant so to speak to grow horizontally and low and then to grow upward with more light being trained on the nodes horizontally leading to more colas and growth sights. you can go to the faq's in newbie central and it should explain it there better than i did.
