i need just a few more questions answered if u could help me?
this is how the story goes - dry season here in south africa begining
of the year and we hadnt smoked in weeks, so one day we fone our
trusty guy and he hooks us up wit wat he said was mango skunk, and
id had it before randomly but didnt think it was the same shit...turns out,
it was better! to convert it was about 15g for 10$ so we were over the moon about this shit, was dark green with orange hairs and...ok im going too into detail. anyway - we basicaly just bought this stuff for a few weaks and then it ran out and the dude couldnt get anymore, an its
no where to be found but lucky i through ALL the seeds i got into my garden, only 3plants out of about 15 hav survived to this day with cats
and snail problems and now my biggest one is either male or a hermi
and what i need to know is how do i remove pollon sacks from a male
plant A - to keep it from pollonating itself while flowering and B - in order to use the pollon to keep a good strain alive. how exactly do i store the pollon too? if anyone....can help me. id really appreciate it, just seemed pointless creating a whole new thread just for this. Thanx!!

wait youre from s.a? me too man this is wierd. i used to live in johannesburg for 10 years, i was born there and my whole family is southafrican! awesome!but now i live in the states so any way


your best bet is to take the male out of the garden all together and move him inside or far away from the otheres. as for collecting the pollen for breeding the strain, i cant tell you anything about it, but if it already has pollen sacks GET it out before it ruins the rest of your plants.

good to see people in S.A. are gettin blazed.

i sometimes wonder to myself if i would have smoked weed if i had stayed in south africa and not moved at such a young age. hmmmmmmmm

so thanx for the advice, ill move it back into my bathroom. I guess
onces the sack ripens and are ready to release ill just.....cut them?
and put them into bankies? or airtight film canisters?
and then use it from there.

Ok- like said above you gotta get the full blown male outta there like yesterday....... let him mature long enough to open his sacks. You can put some paper underneath him so when he does release his pollen it'll fall down onto the paper. Then you just scrape it off the paper and put it in a container and throw that bad boy in the freezer for later use. That would be the best way IMO. Also, to make sure that the pollen falls to the paper, make sure you don't have any airflow goin around him.

As far as the Hermie goes, there's one guy here that is just clippin all the sacks off and lettin the buds grow. You can do that, just use steralized siccors or nail clippers and cut em off.

I've never had to deal with a Hermie, but reading thru the posts here what I did find seems to make sense. Even tho a lot of people say to just get rid of her/him and not to bother. But if you can keep the sacks off then why waste the bud right?

I think you can put him back onto a veg cycle- but not sure how much trouble that may be considering ur lettin him go far enough to drop his pollen. He may just continue out his cycle even if you put him in veg and die off anyway......

If that's the case look at it this way- you have enough pollen to make thousands of seeds for the future-- I'd just turn him into some hash IMO.
