Hello everyone, I pretty much got what i wanted to start my first grow, just needing a little help. I bought 4 heat lamps and 4 6500k, 100 watt equivlants CFL's (daylights). The lamps are kind of big for my space, I have one seed thats germinated so far and hoping the other 3 germinate as well, will one lamp with 1 cfl light be enough for one plant apiece until flowering time. Thanks for any help.

I don't get what you mean by 'heat lamp'.... to me that sounds like those lamps they use in restaurants to keep food warm while waiting to be delivered to the table. If this is the case then don't use those lights. You want your lights to be as cool as possible. Also... what kind of bulbs do those things use? If it's incandescent or halogen then you FOR SURE don't want them. Ditch the heat lamps and use all CFLs if you can't get a HID. Currently I use CFL for clones/seeds and HPS for flowering. I have 6 100 watt CFLs for 3 plants and to be honest I don't think that's enough.
