Aright well i currently have a few seedlings, 2 are Cali Purps in my AG Pro200. My problem si when I use extra CFLs, I can't tell which one to use by name. I have 23 Watt CFLs when I ordered them they were called SOFT WHITE but the light it gives off is yellowish tint (red spectrum I'm guessing) but wouldn't that be WARM WHITE? I also have 14 Watt CFLs that give off a brighter white light (Blue Spectrum I'm guessing) that's kind of blueish tint.
So is my 23-Watt yellowish CFL SOFT WHITE or WARM WHITE?

yes.
lol. manufacturers call them all kinds of diff. names, the only thing that matters is the K rating. Soft white - warm white are generally interchangable names used for 2700k red spectrum lights, while blue spectrum 6500k rating bulbs are usually labeled bright white or daylight white.... |
