I am new at growing with CFLs, i have 6 one month old seedlings under 3 23 watt cfls, 18/6, 6.0-6.5 pH, miricle grow potting soil, 2 ocolating fans (one for roots, one for air circulation) i was woundering what type of cfl i should get. will post pix when i get cam fixed

First off, A whole bunch more...
For cheap I would say get 4, 42w, 2700k CFL's per plant.
But you said 6 plants right?
you might as well get like 2, 200w enviro lights with hoods.
Haha, but for the price of 2 of those, you might as well get a 400w hps.

You don't have enough light at all. if your set on staying with CFL's you should get like 12 23w 6500k's

Heres a 400w hps for around 100 bucks.

ONE 42 watt cfl is 10 bucks. This hps will be more than enough for 6 plants in a small room.
