ok i have 13 cfls on my 3 plants.. should i add a t-12 ..the t-12 is from ott-lite.. has anybody here used this kinda light?

the tubes dont have a great intensity, if you were going to use tubes at all you would want to have a ton of them and have them inches away from the plants... you'r better going straight cfl's I think... unless you have a ton of plants all at the same stage and you'd be willing to make a "bed" of tubes side by side... you'd want like 8... and you'd probably want T-5's... which are expensive... so if your going on a budget T-8's would be better than T-12's...

here ya go 7 plants with 15 CFL's (12 red and 3 blue).


I myslef would stay away from the tubes to much hassle and not enought light output for me. My CFl's are doing great and producing soem fire green...
