So, I found a catapiller on one of my plants. I promptly took all plants (5) out of my box, and sprayed them heavily with neem oil. I also removed by hand about 50 catapillers. I then sprayed the box heavily. Two days later (yesterday), I found another 5 or so catapillers. I removed them and sprayed some more neem oil. Today, I found one more (removed it).
Question: What else can I do? I've read a few posts on catapillers - it looks like removing by hand is the only real solution. I just want to make sure I've killed any eggs. I bought a commerical product (called Seven), but I'm not sure how good it is to spray chemicals on the plants. 3 of them are flowering (I have two chambers in my box), but they're a good 5-6 weeks away from finishing. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated. |
