I am currently vegging with 4 45 watt 6500k cfls and flowering with 150 watt hps and supplamenting it with 3 20 watt 2700k cfls and im doing it in a smal growbox and having no trouble with heat at all if anything the vegging side with the cfls gets hotter than the side with the hps

how close can you get that hps? to your plants looks really close from here Ive been thinking of getting one from htg.com with a cool tube .....

looks good man! Im using 3 42 watt and 6 23 watt bulbs with 2 intake and one exhaust fans and my temps are about 3 degrees higher than the room, Ive been wondering if I could just get an 150 watt hps keep maybe 2 or 3 of the 42 watt bulbs in my box check out my set up tell me what you think .....firsttimer cfl grow OG KUSH, Jock horror

yeah dude go for it i havent had a single temp problem and all i use is some cpu fans and a stationary fan blowing right on it it always stays about 85 the side i use only cfls gets hot all the time but that might be the way the fans are mounted i have to fix that

This is awsome man. Im picking up a 150W Hps next week and i was worrying about the heat but now that i see this it makes me feel better. That's great how close you can put it to the canopy too.
