Here's my current CFL grow that I have going on. Just thought I'd show my set up that I have going rite now. It's a Rubbermaid setup that I built. Im using 3 - 42 Warm White's, 7 CFLs ranging from 23-26 watts. 6 warm, and 1 cool. Close to 300 WATTS! 3 fans, to small ones from Wally World and a small PC fan i built into my spaceship. But here's what my contraption looks like, it's a DWC inside the rubbermaid. As you can see how the CFLs are set-up, it's a nice canopy for the girls that I have going right now under 12/12. I go 12/12 from start for space reasons and its been working.

Are you cloning any or are you just going from seed?

Cannabizness has a stacked rubbermaid tub setup and he doesn't seem to have much trouble vegging for a while before flower. Do your plants reach the top at maturity? What strain are they?

That does look like a really nice setup, though. Especially if you can change the height of those lights easily! Great job!

how old is that big plant in there? look really good but its taking up a lot of space man looks like u need a shorter more compact strain....try an indica or something then maybe you can fill up the whole system at the same time get a nice sog!!

To answer you hackel: yes they do reach full maturity off my biggest girl if i let her keep going at the rate she's going i could get close to 3 oz juss off her. And the plant to the left of her on the bottom is a clone I took off her 3 weeks into flowering. Vegged for a week then threw in the DWC. Everything else is from seed.

Bitti: That bigger girl in there is somewhere I'd say around 4-5 weeks flowering. she is BIG i wont lie, tha space up top behind her is an open space with nothing in it so she has that too and that one branch I bent over to run in between the two babies on the the left so they'll still receive good light. The rest of the seedlings are Indy's and mostly Indy's so i should be good once the biggest plant comes down.

your setup is awesome bro! when i first started growing i used rubbermaids....they are cheap and work very well. i have no suggestions...looks as tho you go yo shit together! a SOG in there would be awesome if you could fit 4 plants in for every square foot

thanx khackylacky, u and the rest you guys on here rock. Yea im trying to do my thing a lil, got tired of the swags/mids floatin around and the supposed good stuff that people were making names for lol And it also helps me sleep at night, I be up made late all the time lol But unfortunately in my area we arent as fortunate as some to be considered medicinal patients Im envious. Getting to the SOG, im def thinkin about doing that after the big girl comes down for the smaller babies I have coming up, Id like to try that for sure. I had to get rid of my Blue Mystic baby , someting happened to it and the rockwool so I threw in a mystery Kush seed one of my boys had. I put it in this morning and I went to look at it later this afternoon and it's taking off. It was i soil first, but after the BM went down I swapped em out Gotta keep it movin, it dont stop! I have a camera that i'll be using but I wont have access to it til tomorrow, so til then on the pics. I wanna give a before and after of the Kush in soil and after transplant to DWC. So, everyone keep it til next time...

Not too much new going on here people. Juss snapped a few pics wit the camera fone...yuck! But having to make due til i get a charger. 1st pic is of the Mystery Kush seed my boy gave me thats taking well to the DWC from soil. 2nd is of a pick of a nug on one of the the tops thats swelling up under a 42 watter. 3rd, I guess you could call this "center mass" lol of the plant mostly and there's some to the left and right that you cant see. 4th is juss of the node spacing of the Kush lil one. More coming soon lata hopefully after i get done cleaning and what have you...

So you start in the hydroton? how do you know if the seed is held there? Or are those cuttings?
