ok guys i know there is a connection between pot volume and end yeild and the bigger the pot the bigger your yeild.

Well has anyone tried growing from seed to harvest in like 2 litres of soil or under? kinda like a soda pop bottle or similar sized pot?

would it be possible to yeild an ounce per plant this way using cfl's?

in theory it should work pretty well, but never tried it so i dunno, just wanting other peoples input on it if possible

Lol good luck trying mate. You'd be lucky to get an Oz off a good size plant in a large container using cfl's. IMO it's MH/HPS or you're just going to be thoroughly disappointed.

in that case im going to buy a 400w hps for flowering stage, least that way il make the most of the smaller plants and yeild the most i possibly can.

im intruged... let us know your results

An ounce takes a vigorous plant, regardless of planter size. IMO, inside grows don't need more than a couple of gallon containers in most cases. It's not like a tornado is going on in my closets. They do need enough room to feed, though, inferring width might be more important than depth, within reason.

ok guys they have been in veg for around 16/17 days and there doing fine, they have stayed short but stubby about 4-5 inches tall, going to flower them in the next couple of days.

I have a feeling this will work pretty well, i intend on cloning all of them tomorrow with intention to put 2 ladys into flower every 2 weeks, should be enough smoke for my personal needs.

and if your wondering why i do it this way in soda bottles is coz if i got busted by cops where i live they wud laff as in soda bottles is jus way too noobish to be considered a commercial grow, hence avoiding jail time.

why flower them when they're so small? pointless imo
