Default 1st time grow update.. advice please
hey guys ive been postin b/c i had some over watering and overnuting problems you guys have been a big help so far..
so, ive got 5 ladies, 21 days old, strain is the doctor (heavy indica) and im a little concerned about the direction of my plants. I had been overwatering and nuted when i shouldnt have, so my plants were looking pretty bad 5 days ago. i flushed the 2 worst plants and let the other guys push through it.. one i flushed is recovering well and one of the leading growers, the other unfortunately had a light dropped on her, but she survived but is a little mangled.. anyways i was wondering if i should do anything about the bottom yellowy leaves on all the plants( will they recover and green up or stay yellow forever?) also, should i flush the other 3 plants even though they dont look horrible or just let keep goin..?? i dont know if it will speed up their growth. any help is appreciated..

Whats the soil? Nutes? Water Cycle?

Looks to me like nute burn I would lay off the nutes until the 4th week of veg. I can't really see your soil in these pics but first time growers usually over water. Looks like there growth has stunted but if you have growth continuing on top then they'll make it.

Just my opinion...

i got regular potting soil with about 10% perlite.. have 18-9-27 fert for veg, as for watering schedule i just water em when the top inches or so dry out and the pot is light.. people say water till a little comes out the bottom , but if some water goes down the side of my pot and right out the drainage holes that kind of defeats the purpose ,am i right..? what is a good schedule or guideline for plants in 6inch square pots.. also no one said if i should flush my other plants or if i should pick off the yellow bottom leaves. thanks for the feedback

Like I said before No nutes for veg if you have a nute addiction than veg for 5 weeks and give nutes the last week before flower. When the top soil is dried out it doesn't mean water because the middle to lower have can still be moist. If I second guess being dry I just poke my index finger down in the dirt closest to the side so I don't kill any roots. You want the soil to be moist not wet. I'd Flush let it sit out for a couple of hours then transplant into fresh soil. If it comes out the drainage hole then you might be over watering. Good luck.
