I know I have seen it on here before, maybe I am not using the right terms in the search. I am looking to learn how to wire a Light fixture to a plug.

I am pretty sure its as easy as matching the color's Black. White and green. But do I use a certian gauge extension cord? Like 14 or 16 gauge.
Or if you know of any DIY post's.

Seems like you have the right idea, just as long as you buy that exact plug with the ground pole on it you should have no problems. Those vanity fixtures have instructions to hook it to house wiring and it's pretty much the same.

As for size of cord, it doesn't matter so much since you're using CFLs. They don't use a lot of juice compared to the bulbs that those are made for.

Good luck with your CFL grow. Just turned my first plant to 12/12 yesterday. CFLs all the way. Peace.
