Ok, Heres the deal my plan is to do a closet grow in a box with 4 plants.

The problem is that im not so plant smart...

My first problem is how much light i was thinking a 4 CFL set up but i don't know what wattage.

Correct me if im wrong but 12 hrs light and 12 hrs off when flowering.

I don't know how much light during growing will make the plant grow fastest(help me out).

I also planed to put one exhaust and one intake fan on the the box for fresh air.

And last paint the inside of the box white.

One very last thing is what type of soil, I heard that merical grow is good but im clueless.

If your going to use only 4 cfl lights i would use 105 watt cfl..they produce alot of lumens and are only 25 bucks each..when you are in your vegitative grow you can keep the lights on 24/7..however i do not recommend you do this if you dont have cool white cfl lights..i keep mine on for about 18 hours a day..18 on 6 off..white paint does reflect light..soil just depends on what you want..nutes or organic

back to the lights though..you have to have alot of light when using cfl or its point less..so spend the extra money for 105 watt even a 150 watt dn u will have success

105w cfl's get kind of hot. Maybe roll wit 4-6 42w cfls. There about $8 ea.

I like my 105 Watt CFL. It get's hot but i can still touch it. Ill probably get another one when i get the money.

I've had great results with veg@18/6...flowering @8/16 iam no expert tho iam on my 2nd flo-gro now ...i need to start a journal!!!!
