Hows it going, new to this forum.. anyway just a quick question

for last 3-4years i have grown outdoors got great yields ect.. (australia)

anyway im just experimenting with 2 plants.. because its pretty cold at the moment, will be for about 3 more weeks, i thought id just grow 2 under a cfl for 3weeks or so...

now question is, im just using a 25watt per plant, in 2-3 weeks they should be like 4-6 inchs high or so. is it ok to grow starting with cfls at like 18/6 for 3 weeks or so then putting them outdoors?

heres a picture of my stingy little setup,

at the moment theres 2 under one globe, because they just past sprout stage, so in 1-2 days ill move the second under my second light (sorry for quality of pics shittywebcam i had to turn brightness down and fiddle around with different hue and saturation levels so it would even show the little box , plants are northern lights

Ps i used half a beer can as a reflector, will it work better without it?

you need more cfls try 2 to 3 on one plant for now double up when you start flower

lol i said it was stingy, i was just doing it for 2 weeks or so, but theres no point buying more globes, ill just grow em outdoor.

Lol, I'd think you would be fine with 3 25 watt bulbs for the 3 weeks, but 2 bulbs is kinda pushing it. Hope all goes well =D

you'll be fine for few weeks, it'll give them a good headstart...

When you move them from indoors to outdoors try to do it gradually. If you just stick them out in the sun it'll probably fry them.
